FAQ
1. Can the bottle capping machine handle my specific bottles and caps?
Compatibility is not only depending on the complete package but also cap diameter. Please provide several sample bottles and caps, including dip tubes, liners, tamper-evident features, cap dimensions, raw materials, and samples from normal production. Also share product condition, target capacity, and required final orientation. RUN-TECH can then evaluate feeding, bottle stability, cap placement, thread engagement, and tightening method. Suitable guides, fixtures, chucks, grippers, and change parts are designed based on the approved samples before the final bottle capping machine configuration is confirmed for manufacturing and testing.
2. How does the machine prevent loose, tilted, damaged, or over-tightened caps?
The machine reduces closure defects by combining stable bottle handling, accurate cap placement, controlled downward pressure, and adjustable tightening parameters. Closure-specific chucks or grippers help protect pumps, trigger sprayers, decorated caps, and irregular shapes. Appropriate servo control can provide repeatable capping settings, while sensors may check cap presence or positioning. During sample testing, acceptance regulation should include loose caps, cross-threading, tilted placement, damage, orientation, and package-approved removal torque. Results are confirmed from the tested bottles and caps combination.
3. How to verify the actual capping speed and qualified rate?
Performance should be verified by using customer’s sample bottles and caps under an agreed factory acceptance test. The test records should include the production capacity, running time, total cycles, accepted bottles, rejects by defect type, feeding interruptions, operator interventions, and unplanned stops. When accepted output rate is required, the sample quantities and inspection method must be marked.Final figures only apply to the current tested package, machine configuration, settings, utilities, and acceptance criteria.
4. Can one bottle capping machine be suitable for multiple bottle and closure formats?
A single bottle capping machine can be suitable for variations of bottles and closures which are within the machine’s adjustment range. Format changeovers utilize adjustable conveyor guides, bottle nests, chucks, grippers, cap tracks, interchangeable change parts and saved operating recipes. However, cap diameter is not the only one factor to define the compatibility. RUN-TECH must review each bottle, neck finish, closure, dip tube and orientation requirement prior to production. The approved format matrix and changeover scope will be documented in the technical proposal and validated during sample testing.
5. What support is provided for installation, integration, and after-sales service?
Before manufacturing, confirm the production-line layout, conveyor height and direction, communication signals, electrical supply, compressed air, and required interfaces. The quotation should also define operating manuals, training, recommended spare parts, remote troubleshooting, warranty coverage, optional on-site service, and responsibilities for installation, commissioning, trial materials, and final acceptance at the customer’s factory.
6.Can the machine automatically feed pump caps and trigger sprayers without frequent jams?
Pump and trigger closures require more than a standard cap feeder because their asymmetric shapes and dip tubes can cause tangling or misorientation. RUN-TECH evaluates the actual caps and designs the sorting, orientation, delivery, pickup, and placement method accordingly. Performance should be verified by recording wrong feeding, jams, stops, and operator interventions.
